Initial Consultation and Assessment
STT Assessments are conducted according to presenting signs and symptoms, looking to identify the most likely cause of the pain, discomfort or injury. We can-not ‘see’ pain, so the initial consultation (IC) is an important first process in building trust and strong appreciation for the client experience.
When the findings of an assessment suggest that our client may have a condition or signs and symptoms that are beyond the scope, skill-set, and/or training, we will refer that client to the most appropriate healthcare professional within the group. Absolute Health & Performance Group has a wide reaching range of highly skilled practitioners including physiotherapists and osteopaths to which we refer.
Soft Tissue Treatments can include and are often a combination of:
- Sports massage
- Remedial massage
- Muscle Energy Technique (MET)
- Myofascial dry needling
- Static, PNF, and dynamic stretching
- Exercise prescription
